604media is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Our name reflects our pride in our city (referring to the 604 area code of Vancouver). Both of our Principals / Directors were born and raised here. We believe Vancouver is one of the greatest city in the world, and we can back that up. Conde Nast Traveler voted Vancouver the "Best City in the Americas" for three years in a row, in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Mercer Human Resource Consulting voted Vancouver as having the third highest quality of living in the world, in 2007. Forbes magazine ranked Vancouver as the 10th cleanest city in the world, in 2007.

As the third largest city in Canada, with a population of 650K (2.25 million including surrounding suburbs), Vancouver is home to a growing and dynamic creative community. Drawing inspiration from our spectacular natural environment and the creative energy of the city, individuals and organizations are thriving in many different areas of the creative sector, including the performing and visual arts, film and television, new media, literature and publishing. With an ever growing army of talent, Vancouver is poised to lead the creative sector into the next generation of innovation.

As a multicultural city Vancouver is home to people from all walks of life, with the 2001 census reporting that 46 percent of Vancouver residents are immigrants.
